The Applied Coverings trade program is free for verified design and construction professionals. Approved members get four core benefits the consumer side of our business doesn't include:

  • Free samples on the materials and patterns you're spec'ing — full-quality prints on the actual substrate, shipped to your studio.
  • A dedicated trade rep who knows your account, your typical project scope, and the materials you commonly specify.
  • Full spec sheets and the trade lookbook — fire ratings, ASTM test reports, LEED contribution worksheets, SDS sheets, and CSI 3-part specifications, all on hand and ready to send.
  • Made-in-USA priority production — 5–7 day standard turnaround from our San Jose facility, with rush options when a project demands it. Free shipping nationwide on every trade order.

Eligibility

The trade program is open to:

  • Interior designers (residential and commercial)
  • Architects and architectural firms
  • Commercial designers across hospitality, healthcare, retail, corporate, and education
  • General contractors and wallpaper installation pros
  • Property developers and multifamily project teams
  • Set designers, home stagers, and film/TV production designers
  • Other related trade professionals (visual merchandisers, branded environments designers, etc.)

Verification is a quick business-website review — not a credentialing exercise. If you do design or construction work professionally, you qualify.

Application form

What happens next

We review every application manually within one business day — usually the same day if you submit during business hours. On approval, you'll receive a welcome packet that includes the trade lookbook PDF, your dedicated rep's contact info, a sample-request shortcut, and the link to your trade portal. Your dedicated rep will reach out within a day or two of approval to introduce themselves and walk through your typical project scope, the materials you tend to specify, and what you'd like in your first sample pack. From there, your first sample pack typically ships the same week and lands at your studio within two to three business days.
